At the beginning of September Sophie Bartrop, class of 2020 completed long awaited work experience week with Theo Fennell in his London workshop. Due to the pandemic the placement was delayed and rescheduled multiple times so we are absolutely thrilled we got the project to happen.

Our Technology Department Theo Fennell masterclasses are usually an annual event to look forward to on the calendar so seeing Sophie go and make such a beautiful piece was fantastic. During the week she was on the placement she learnt and mastered many fine jewellery making skills and as you can see, from design to realisation, her accuracy and creativity is second to none. Well done Sophie and thank you to Theo and your team for the experience, we look forward to getting this started again in the new year.
