Our deepest condolences and loving thoughts go out to Rachel's friends and family at this sad time and most especially to her parents Mark and Jane and her sister Philippa (SWPS 2012 -2019). The family hope to hold a memorial event for Rachel later in the year so that all who remember her are able to join together to celebrate her life.

She is best remembered for her beautiful smile, robust opinions and active dedication in our community.  In amongst her academic studies, she became a successful rower and kept up with the sport long after leaving school.

Rachel gained degrees in Law from Queens University Belfast and in Security and Intelligence Studies from Brunel University. Following her studies Rachel joined the Metropolitan Police as an intelligence analyst, which she really loved. Tributes from her work colleagues are testament to her success in the Force and have been widely reported in both local and national press.
