Congratulations to Hattie Taylor (Class of 2012) who won a Bronze medal in the Women’s Eight GB Rowing Squad for Paris 2024.

A historic performance at Paris Olympics from Hattie, racing to a brilliant Olympic Bronze Medal in the Great Britain Women’s Eight!

Her crew becomes only the second Team GB women’s boat to medal in the big boat, and Hattie is the first Perkins alumna to ever step on the Olympic podium. The fact that she did it whilst representing Leander Club and Sir William Perkins’s School is a huge honour for our Club and school, and something that we know will inspire our current rowers to believe that one day, this could be them!

Hattie, thank you for everything. A lot has changed since you started rowing with your school friends in Chertsey, but your long-held passion for our sport is clear for all to see.

Congratulations from all of us at Perkins, and enjoy forever being an OLYMPIC MEDALIST!??
