The summer of 2022 brought an unforgettable surprise for Mr. Jones, our beloved history teacher at SWPS. Led by the graduating class of 2022, students banded together to gift Mr. Jones a tank-driving experience - fulfilling his long-held dream of commanding an armored vehicle across an airfield in Bicester. Though the voucher sat untouched for nearly two years, this February Mr. Jones finally cashed it in for some high-octane fun.  "It was an unbelievable experience, just pure excitement and enjoyment,"

When asked about the reason behind this unique gift, Mr. Jones humorously replied, "I believe this particular group of students knew exactly how to divert my attention and lead me astray with discussions about tanks! Perhaps it was their way of providing some light-hearted relief from the Tudors!"

Mr. Jones was deeply moved by the students' thoughtfulness. "I hope they see these pictures and know how much I cherished this gift. I want to thank them again for their incredible generosity. I know they've all gone on to thrive since graduating, and I wish them the very best."
